Classic Champions Inc. brings European principles to course design for young jumpers, and help young horses to become the future stars they can be, offering competition opportunities that are both sporting and educational.

  • Specific classes for 5, 6 and 7 year olds with adapted heights, type of fences, lines and turns

  • Experienced, specifically trained course designers

  • Positive formative experiences at top-notch show venues

Cynthia Hampton, Founder and President of Classic Champions Inc., explains why she threw herself into this challenge: “Settled in Paris for twenty years, I was really impressed by how the European riders and breeders educate their young jumpers thanks to a solid educational approach. Back in the USA after many years competing show jumpers on both coasts, I came to the conclusion that our young horse classes could be improved. So, in 2015, I founded and incorporated Classic Champions, Inc, a not for profit, 501c(3) with the desire to implement European practices for the young jumpers into showjumping in North America.”

Cynthia continued, “My goal is to offer adapted classes and also to educate riders, trainers, breeders, course designers, judges and officials. We need a viable structure capable of identifying, selecting and educating future high level horses. I believe that we can breed and develop future athletes capable of distinguishing our region both at home and on international stage!”

Classic Champions at Deeridge Farm was a great new addition. That tour gave my young horses a solid positive competitive experience in top notch conditions.
